Margaret Ann Sikes a resident of Mississippi (formally of Durant) passed from this life in Pass Christian, Mississippi on December 24, 2017 at the age of 89. Margaret was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 24, 1928 to Cornelius Cornine and Leona May (Turner) Cook. She married Ben Sikes in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 14, 1944.
Margaret was a Supervisor at Glen Oaks in Madill for 31 years. She loved to read a good book and work crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Sikes is survived by her sons, Gerald W. Sikes of Rush Springs, Oklahoma and Ben E. Sikes of Blue, Oklahoma; daughter, Jo Anne Gibson of Pass Christian, Mississippi; along with numerous grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Sikes was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Leona Cook; and husband, Ben Sikes.
Family Hour will be from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Blue Baptist Church on Friday, December 29th before the service. The service will begin at 2:00 PM with Bro. Randy Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille
