Mary Ann Scoggins 78, of Achille, Oklahoma passed away Monday March 18, 2019 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born September 5, 1940 in Woodson, Texas to William Marion (Bill) and Essie Juanita Lee. She married Cyrus James Scoggins March 13, 1956 in Crosbyton, Texas and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2010 and she was also preceded by a Son Johnny Edwin Scoggins.
She owned and operated the Scoggins Trucking Company for 10 years and became a volunteer for the Preston Volunteer Emergency Services where she was a dispatcher, Assistant grant writer and over the personnel department 8 years and a member of the RSVP for 5 years.
Mary, is survived by her Sons James Roy Scoggins and Timothy Lee Scoggins and Stacy Adam Scoggins all of Achille, Oklahoma 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.
A Funeral Service for Mary Ann Scoggins, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday morning March 22, 2019 at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma, with Rev. Matt Stubblefield, officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery in Achille, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Jarrett Ross, Eric Bales, Dennis Richardson, Kurtes Gamble, Tina Scoggins and T.J. Scoggins, Jr. Honorary Pallbearer will be James William Frances Scoggins. Family Night will be held from 5-8 Thursday evening March 21, 2019 at the funeral Home.
