Trittsuchuh "Tritt" Warren Russell, 90, of Point, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in a Greenville nursing home.
A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, January 15 2011 at the Rosewood Cemetery, in Achille, Oklahoma at 1:30 P.M. With Rev. George Fisk officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home.
Tritt was born December 13, 1920 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Charles Dennis Russell and Esther Blair Russell. Tritt attended school in Achille, Oklahoma. He married the former Miss Lillian Jean Holland on January 3, 1944 in Ada, Oklahoma. Tritt worked in the aircraft industry, employed by Chance Vought in Grand Prairie for 36 years, retiring January 31, 1984. He moved to Irving, Texas in 1951 and lived there until 1976, moving to Bedford until 2009 when he moved to Point. Tritt enjoyed fishing, yard work and reading.
He was preceded in death by his parent, wife, and six brothers and sisters.
He is loved and will be missed by his daughters, Linda Jean Humphrey and her husband Joe, of Point, Cynthia Ann Williams and her husband Johnny of Georgetown. Sisters: Elnora Mae Gee of Calera, Oklahoma, Betty Kutchman of Durant, Oklahoma, Mary Bates of Durant, Oklahoma, Hazle Anderson of Durant, Oklahoma. Brother: John Russell of Sun City, California. Grandson: Damon Humphrey of Fate. Granddaughters: Heather Robinson of Lewisville, Melanie Williams of Coppell, Janna Williams, of Ft. Worth. Great-Grandson: Wesley Humphrey of Fate.
