Anna Lou Bully Kennemer

Anna Lou (Bully) Kennemer, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on February 1, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas from complications of COVID-19.

Anna was the first born child of Aaron Bully and Melinda Gibson Bully, born at home on Christmas Day, December 25, 1948. She was later joined by siblings Larry Bully, Melva Bully Robertson, Sharon Bully Zondor and Pamela Bully Robertson.

Growing up in Bryan County, Anna enjoyed stays with her grandmother in Achille. School, Church and family gatherings were a part of daily life for the family.

After growing up, she first married Calvin Reynolds and children born of this marriage were: Gary Reynolds, James Reynolds and Sherry Reynolds Owens.

Later, Anna married Charles Kennemer, and celebrated over 50 years together. They enjoyed get-togethers for lively games of dominos and bingo. She had a sweet smile and her chuckles would make others laugh. Anna enjoyed her life with family and friends. She loved singing Choctaw and going to gospel sings. Anna was a proud member of the District 9 Choctaw Seniors of Durant and was a regular attendee at gatherings held at their community center.

Predeceasing were her parents and her sister Melva Robertson.

She is survived by husband Charles, children Gary Reynolds, James Reynolds and Sherry Reynolds Nation; brother Larry Bully and sisters Sharon Zondor and Pamela Robertson; six grandchildren, namely: Justin Reynolds, Nathan Walker, Kenny Walker, Travis Nichols, Trey Harper and Shayla Harper.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Grace Indian Baptist Church. Pastor Wayne Bailey and Greg Scott will officiate. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Andy Frakes, Justin Robertson, Jason Hamby, Nathan Walker, Lee Watkins and James Dry serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
