Murrell Emmitt Hill of Achille, Oklahoma left this life and joined his Savior on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the age of 76 years 2 months and 27 days. He was born on March 7, 1941 to John William and Mildred Lucille (Blakney) Hill. Murrell married Doris Elizabeth Patton in Dallas, Texas on September 19, 1959.

Murrell had a strong work ethic, he was a self-employed building contractor for 30 years. He later worked for Lattimore Materials in Denison, Texas for 15 years, and Wingfield Construction for 10-12 years. Murrell was a member of the #454 Masonic Lodge in Achille, Oklahoma, and the Armstrong Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, but his favorite activities were working and camping.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Doris of Achille; children, Lavonda Hill Wingfield and husband Johnny of Durant, Oklahoma, Dane Hill and wife Dena of Wright City, Oklahoma, Kimberly Hill Clemons and husband David of Bennington, Oklahoma, Shane Hill and wife Heather of Burneyville, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kyle Wingfield and wife Kassie of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Brittany Perkins and husband Madison of Salt Lake City, Utah, Matthew Wingfield and wife Samantha of Durant, Oklahoma, Jordan Hill and wife Brandi of Wright City, Oklahoma, Sara Hill Converse and husband Collin of Golden, Oklahoma, Blake Clemons and wife Claire of Texarkana, Texas, Blaine Clemons and wife Taylor of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Bryce Clemons and wife Jessica of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, Hillary, Hope, and Hadley Hill of Burneyville, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Kash Wingfield, Scout Wingfield, Scarlett Wingfield, Jaxon Hill, Jaylon Hill, Jyllian Hill, Aiden Hill, Addison Wingfield, Reese Clemons, Evelyn Clemons, and 2 on the way.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his dad, John William Hill; mother, Mildren Lucille Hill; brother, Thomas Dee Hill; nieces, Delena Sue Hill; and nephew, Jason Ray Hill.

Family Hour will be from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM Monday June 5th at the Holmes~ Coffey~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday June 6th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Rev. Russell Garcia officiating.

Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille. Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren, Kyle Wingfield, Matthew Wingfield, Jordan Hill, Blake Clemons, Blaine Clemons, and Bryce Clemons.
