Wanda M. Ramsey Ellis, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the age of 80.
She was born on May 4, 1935 in Achille, Oklahoma to Wandon and Lydia Edna Lievsay Ramsey.
Wanda married Roy Joe Ellis in Litchfield Park, Arizona on April 6, 1985.
Wanda was a proud member of the Daughter of the American Revolution and the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband, Roy Ellis of Durant, Oklahoma; sons, Wade Dollar and wife Christine of Golden, Colorado and Stuart Dollar and wife Suzette of Avondale, Arizona; step-daughters, Vickie Blanding of McKinney, Texas, Sherri Mizysak of Glendale, Arizona; brothers, Dale Ramsey and wife Ann of Kearny, Arizona and Ronnie Ramsey of Wyoming; sister, Mary Aring and husband Al of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Zak, Joshua, Alexander, Grantham, Jason, Emily, Audra, Jamie and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Webb, Ellis, Malachi, Elijah, Judah and Olivia.
Mrs. Ellis is preceded in death by her parents, Wandon and Lydia Ramsey; sister, Sandra Wade and brothers, Windell, Robert and Lester Ramsey.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Rosewood Cemetery in Achille, Oklahoma with Pastor Don Gelles officiating.
