Gay Rene DeCaire a resident of Achille, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Monday December 4, 2017 at the age of 78. She was born on July 25, 1939, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Atchman and Lauretta Irene (Grimes) Arkansas. Gay married her beloved Richard Kenneth DeCaire in Bakersfield, California on July 20, 1957.

Gay had a loving heart and dedicated her life to her family, and caring for others. She was a member of the Lutheran church, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, knitting, sewing, cooking delicous meals, crocheting, and listening to music form the 50's and 60's. 

Mrs. DeCaire is survived by her daughters, Karen Williams and husband Billy of Achille, Oklahoma, and Cheryl Womack and Chris Gatlin of Achille, Oklahoma; sisters, Sandra Bartlett of Kenai, Alaska, Christy Arkansas of Calera, Oklahoma, Perrin Beal of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Sherran Glinn of Calera, Oklahoma; one brother, Michael Arkansas of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. DeCaire was preceded in death by her parents, Atchman Arkansas and Lauretta Irene (Grimes) Reed; husband, Richard Kenneth DeCaire; daughters, Tracy Annette DeCaire, and Lisa René Collins; and one son, Richard Lynn DeCaire.

Family Hour will be from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday December 6th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside   service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday December 7th at the Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Chaplin David Kautt officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Adam Womack, BJ Williams, Jacob Womack, Jeremy SoRelle, Noah Womack, Philip Williams, and Anthony Womack.
