Born June, 22, 1932 in El Reno, OK, died March 11th, 2009 in Denison, TX.
Services were held at New Life Assembly of God in Calera, OK, Friday, March 13, 2009 under the direction of Coffey-Murray Funeral Home with Reverend Stephen Biggerstaff officiating. Place of burial, Rosewood Cemetery, Achille, OK.
Reverend Comstock was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Calera, OK and former Pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Durant, OK. Bill loved playing gospel music on his steel guitar and regular guitar. Reverend Comstock spent forty-five years in the ministry and forty-two years as a newspaper pressman.
He married his first wife Violet Louise Cooley in August 28, 1949 she passed away on April 17, 2001. He married his second wife Margaret Garcia on January 12, 2002 at the Calvary Temple of God in Durant, OK.
Reverend Comstock was preceded in death by wife, Violet Comstock; Sisters, Wilma Comstock, Ruthie Sullaway, Brother, Gordon Comstock; Grandson, Rusty Comstock; Great-Granddaughter, Aubrey Hobson; Parents, Walter and Gladys Comstock.
He is survived by wife Margaret Comstock of Calera, OK, Son, Rev. Roger Comstock and wife Kathy of Arapaho, OK, Son, Rev. Jimmy C. Comstock and wife Deborah of Port Clinton, Ohio, Daughter: Donna Pirtle and husband Vaughn of Blanchard, OK, Daughter: Cheryl Braggs and husband Ramey of Hobbs, New Mexico, Son: Howard Comstock and wife Stacy of Princeton, TX, Son: James Garcia and wife Kristy of Calera, OK, Son: Michael Garcia and wife Brandy of Calera, OK, Son: Randy Garcia and wife Colleen of Sherman, TX, Sister: Francis Manning and husband Gene of Amarillo, TX, Sister: Lois Lucas and husband Glen of Wellington, TX, Sister: Thelma Destarac and husband Richard of Blue Springs, Missouri, Sister: Pat Bryan and husband James of Pampa, TX, Brother-In-Law: Gene Cooley and wife Judy of Mosinee, Wisconsin, Sister-in-Law: Helen Munoz of Knoxville, TN, 24 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.<
