Milton “Wayne” Brown, our beloved father, husband, uncle, and brother-in-law passed from this life on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Denison, TX. He was born November 8, 1942 in Bokchito, OK to Nora K. (Adams) Brown and Charles M. Brown. He married Patricia A. (Taters) White on July 29, 1967, and to this union was born their son, Johnathan W. Brown. At the time of his death, he was a retired equipment operator for the City of Achille. Mr. Brown was also a retire member of the armed forces, serving in the Army from 1964 to 1991. Mr. Brown was also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Edward Brown, and his one true love, his wife Taters on April 9, 2016.
He is survived by his son, John Brown of the home, his brother and sister-in-law, Howard W. and Neda White, numerous cousins, and a mess of nephews and nieces who will miss their Uncle Wayne.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 10:00 am at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille, OK with Jan Kelley officiating. Pallbearers will be Paul DaVault, Darrell Russell, Bobby Lewis, Greg Lewis, Tinker Frazier, Tony Frazier, and Randall Russell. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the DaVita Kidney Care organization. Funeral services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service Durant.
