Catherine Cameron Billey age 67 of Durant, OK passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Dallas, TX. Catherine was born on December 2, 1951 in Pueblo, CO to James and Catherine Bunch Cameron. A life long resident of Durant, Catherine graduated from high school and worked as a CNA at Bryan County Manor for many years and other various health care facilities. She was married to Chester Billey for 8 years until his passing. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and she enjoyed garage selling, watching soap operas, dancing and going to the movies, but most of all she loved her family and friends.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Tabatha Bledsoe; sisters, Anna Mae Williams, Betty Nichols, Linda Littrell, Opal Wells and Edna Nobles and brother, Billy Cameron.
Catherine is survived by her children, Diane Neese, Janice Smith and husband Gary, Anna Ivey and husband Calvin Reynolds and Thurman Wright; 21 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Anthony Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Gary Smith, Calvin Reynolds, Calvin Reynolds Sr., Matthew Ivey, Thurman Wright, Johnathen Ivey, Austin Reynolds and Devin Campbell serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
