Durant, OK- Richard Perez Anzaldua Jr. was born Tuesday, May 21st, 1968 in McKinney, Texas to Richard Perez Anzaldua and Anna Mae (Cameron) Williams. He passed from this life on Monday, June 20th, 2022 in Denison, Texas at the age of 54.
Richard married Jessica Marie West on December 6, 2005. Richard worked as a forklift operator. He loved to fish, play on the computer and play ball with Cameron, and listen to gospel music.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Williams; sisters, Angie Anzaldua and Sandra Thomas; grandparents, Manuel and Mary Anzaldua, and Jim and Catherine Cameron.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica, of Durant, OK; father, Richard Anzaldua and wife, Rosie, of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Cameron Anzaldua of Durant, OK; daughter, Ashley Gomez of Durant, OK; son, Camden Brown; son, Nathan Rowland; daughters; Sandra, Victoria, and Gabriel Anzaldua; father-in-law, Jerry West and Sheila of Durant; brothers, James Anzaldua and John Anzaldua wife Nora; sisters, Margaret Anzaldua, Michelle Dooley, half-sister Elizabeth Anzaldua, step-sisters Patricia Garza and Denise Kennedy; and step-brother, Felix Anzaldua; seventeen grandchildren; and two great-grandkids, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 27th, from 5-8 PM at Brown’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28th, at Brown’s Funeral Chapel with pastor and father Richard Anzaldua Sr. and pastor and uncle Manuel Anzaldua officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Steven West, Aaron West, Justin Anzaldua, Dalton Anzaldua, Timmy Dooley, and Camden Brown serving as casket bearers.
