Services for Dale Edward Weaver, 58, of Durant who passed away Sunday, January 25, will be held Thursday, January 29, 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel.

Pastor Jim Pena will officiate.

Dale was born January 12, 1951, in Patterson, Arkansas to Henry Edgar and Patsy Ruth Williams Weaver.

He attended and graduated from Durant High School and has lived the majority of his life in Bryan county.

He has worked for OG&E as a lineman for 24 years.

He married Elida Vela in Gilbert, Arizona on April 20, 2006.

He was a member of the Three Valley Riders Club, he attended Victory Life Church in Durant and he enjoyed woodworking, riding motorcycles, taking of care of his yard and all outdoor activities. Dale will be greatly missed by all who knew and dearly loved him.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Elida Weaver of the home; sons, Shannon Weaver and wife Charla of Durant and Christopher Weaver and wife Christy of Melissa, Texas; grandchildren, Chasity, Zachary, Tyler, Hailey and Ryan Kale Weaver; sisters, Faye Shelton and husband David of Kevil, Kentucky and Phyllis Manners and husband Charles of Royce City, Texas; brother, Donald Weaver and wife Gina of Colbert; numerous other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends.

Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with Joe Kirk, Cletus Hammond, Kevin Hammond, Kody Adams, Larry Cooper and Josh Weaver serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Fullingim.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
