Billie Annette Bartholomew Thrasher, 52, of Calera, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday morning, October 16, 2010, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, resulting from a car accident in Marshall county.

She was born November 18, 1957, in Sherman, Texas, and was the daughter of William and Ruth Swindell Bartholomew.

She attended Colbert Schools and married Jerry Lynn Thrasher June 19, 1976.

She was a longtime resident of Calera and was a Registered Nurse with Mayes Home Health in Durant.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerry and Dixie Thrasher and her niece, Amy Latham.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lynn Thrasher of the home, son, Jessie Thrasher and wife Ally Woods of Stillwater, Oklahoma; sister, Betty Ruth Hunt and husband Ronnie of Calera; brother, Mike Bartholomew and wife Debra of Ivanhoe, Texas; brother-in-law, James Thrasher and wife Nancy and sister-in-law, Joy Hammond and husband Cletus, all of Calera; nephews, Doug and wife Dawn Hunt and children Destiny and D.J. of Tom Bean, Texas, Dan and wife Susan Hunt and children Tyler, Ashley, Cassie, Zachary and Hunter of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Johnny Latham and great nephews, Nathan and Dalton of Calera; special friends, Crystal Lansdale of Calera and Diane Dunnegan of Michigan; nephews and nieces, Kristie, Dwayne and Kira Hatlestad of Bartlesville, Jeff Thrasher and Shelly Hart of Calera, Chris and Starlene Hammond and Colby and Shaefer Hammond of Salina, Kansas, and a host of many friends and relatives.

Graveside services for Billie Thrasher will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday morning, October 20, 2010 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Reverend Raymond Coats officiating.

Family night will be 6:00 - 8:00 Tuesday night at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
