Margie M. Shults of Evening Shade, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the age of 81 years 9 months and 13 days. She was born to Zelek Zabid and Opal Evelyn (Brewer) Carper in Wright City, Oklahoma on September 24, 1930. Margie married T.C. Shults in Pampa, Texas on Friday, April 9, 1948.
Margie enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden. She was lovingly known as "G.G" by her grandchildren. Margie was a woman who dedicated her life to caring for her family and she did it with love and pride.
Mrs. Shults is survived by her son, Cecil Wayne Shults and wife Peggy of Evening Shade, Arkansas; brothers, Doug Carper and wife Patricia of Phoenix, Arizona and Don Carper of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Shults was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Shults; parents, Zelek and Opal Carper.
Family Hour will be from 7-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Rev. Dan McLemore officiating.
