Jacky, son of Ray and Mary Etta Mantooth Sharp, was born May 25, 1935 in Calera, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at his home.

He married Anna Jay Hallman on November 21, 1953 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Jacky was a member of the First Baptist Church of Calera and a member of Rising Star 129 being a 32nd Mason of the Scottish Rite of McAlester.

He worked for Excel Body Corp. for several years until its closure and retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation with 29 years of service.

He served with the United States Army in 1958 and 1959.

Jacky enjoyed hunting, fishing, blue grass music and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Etta Sharp; step father, Carrol Burcham; brother, Earl Dean Sharp and granddaughter, Amber Renae Sharp.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Jay Sharp of the home; sons, James Sharp and Brad Sharp and wife Tara all of Calera; granddaughters, Ashley Sharp of Colbert, Brittany Sharp of Sherman, Paige Sharp of Oklahoma City and Logan Sharp of Caddo; grandsons, Colton, Cooper and Colbey Stephens of Calera; great grandsons, Vincent and Dylan Sharp of Colbert; great granddaughter, Taraden Sharp of Colbert; sister, Linda Westbrook and husband David of Calera; mother in law, Thelma Hallman of Calera; step brother, Don Burcham and wife Mary of Preston Shores; sisters in law, Anna Belle Wylie of Enid and Carol Hallman of Durant; nephews, Ray Ricks and wife Misty and Shawn Ricks and wife Alissa; niece, Pam Koehn and husband Ron; and many other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Parham officiating.

Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with Shawn Ricks, Junior Ricks, Harrison Luke, Ray Ricks, Jim Newton and Timmy Newton serving as pallbearers.
