Kimberly Michelle Golden Scott

Kimberly was born on September 9, 1987, in Durant, Oklahoma to Bobby Don Golden and Marilyn (Golden) Gatlin. She passed from this life on October 2, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma.

Kimberly attended Durant Public Schools and graduated with the class of Durant High in 2005. She was currently taking college courses and studying to become a psychologist. She was wanted to be a drug and alcohol counselor. Her desire was to help other people overcome their addictions just as she did hers. Kimberly also loved to create things. She started her own business, named "Kim's Custom Creations."

Kimberly's greatest pleasure was spending time with Harley and her five babies. She enjoyed going to sporting events and FFA events to support all her kids. Kim loved her kids and was their biggest supporter and fan when it came to their many accomplishments in school and life. She had the biggest smile on her face any time she spoke of her kids and Harley. She had the kindest heart and was always willing to help others. She has numerous amounts of friends and family who will miss her very much.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her daddy, Bobby Don Golden, grandparents, Pa and Ma Golden, Johney and Rosie Benz, and Viola Myrick.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her momma, Marilyn Gatlin and husband Jimmie (Pappy) of Durant, Oklahoma, her husband, Harley Davidson Scott, her five children, Hayden Golden, Bailee Varner, Braidon Varner, Remington Varner, and Xavier Scott, sister, Lisa Laymon, brother, Roy (Bo) Peterson II, niece, Ashley Laymon and husband Brandon, along with their children, K'lei, Ryan, Rigdon, Maggie, and Piper, nephew, Alton Laymon and wife Makayla, and their son, Waylon Gene, also, Johnny Varner, Nanny Fran, and Roy Peterson. Kimberly leaves behind numerous other family members and friends that she met throughout her life that were very special to her. She loved each person in her own special way.

The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 6-8 P.M. for visitation at Brown's Funeral Service chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Pastor Clair Sams officiating and Lisa Laymon, Alton Laymon, Bo Peterson, Brandon Bridges, Tracey Nelson, and Austin Neece serving as pallbearers.

Services are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service.
