Kenneth Dean Sallee of Coleman, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, March 12, 2012 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years 7 months and 22 days. He was born in Durant, Oklahoma on Friday, July 21, 1933 to Buck and Lola (Bennett) Sallee.

Dean was a man who loved his job as a truck driver because it allowed him to travel all over the United States meeting new people and seeing new places. He enjoyed being outdoors and would work on his dozer whenever he had time. Dean was a friendly person and would visit with his many friends over coffee or a meal at Wright's Drive-in in Durant, Oklahoma. But most of all he loved being with his family.

Mr. Sallee is survived by his wife, Lutreca Pat Sallee of the home; cousins, Kate Finlan of Dallas, Texas, Patsy Coalter and husand Stan of Dallas, Texas, Billy Daniels of Dallas, Texas, James Daniel of Dallas, Texas, Peggy Modney of Dallas, Texas and Dorothy Daniels of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Kay Roberson and husband Randell of Boswell, Oklahoma; grandchildren, David Mayhue Jr. and wife Cathy of Coleman, Oklahoma, Amanda Russell and husband Chase of Howe, Texas and Monica Harvey and husband Justin of Quinton, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Joshua Castleberry of Coleman, Oklahoma, Trevor Mayhue of Coleman, Oklahoma, Dillon Mayhue of Howe, Oklahoma and Hunter Harvey of Quinton, Oklahoma; very good friend, Paul Cross of Durant, Oklahoma.

Mr. Sallee was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Lola Salee; daughter, Carolyn Parrott; cousins, Bob and Joe Daniels.

Family Hour will be from 5-6:00 P.M. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home, in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Rev. Anthony Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be David Mayhue, David Mayhue Jr., Stan Williams, Clinton Harris, Randell Roberson and Justin Harver.
