Graveside services for Dwight O'Dell, 79, of Calera, who passed away Tuesday in Dallas, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jim Parrish will officiate.

Dwight was born April 9, 1929, in Bethany to Herbert and Rhoda Honaker O'Dell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Ann Nelson.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Geraldine O'Dell of the home; son, Stacy O'Dell and wife LaVonna of Clackamas, Oregon, sister, Billie Jo Sweeney of Mesquite, Texas; brothers, Frank O'Dell and wife Shirley of Lake Kiowa, Texas, and Herb O'Dell and wife Janice of Calera; and other relatives and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Jack Stockton Community Building in Calera.
