Sharon Marie Thompson Myrick

Sharon Marie (Thompson) Myrick was born on July 5, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Eugene and Hazel Thompson. Sharon passed away on June 14, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 66. Sharon married the love of her life Howard on October 8, 1971 and they were united as one until Howard’s passing on July 29, 2018. Sharon enjoyed shopping, cooking and going to the casino. She treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; parents and brother David Winship. Sharon is survived by her children Richard Myrick of Durant, OK and Sharlean Young of Sand Springs, OK; sister Anita Breazeale of Muskogee, OK; brother Johnny Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren Amber Green and fiancé Shane Brinkley, Travis Green, Deriona Boone and Kaylee Boone and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday June 19, 2021 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Scott Harper will officiate. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera with James Boone, Damonta Gaddis, John Hamilton, Michael Eckel, Jay Degraffenreed and DeMarco Gaddis serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownfuneralservice.com.
