Dearest baby, please know that one of our greatest blessings was having you. Heavens gain was our loss when you were called away.
Silas came into this world on January 16m 2018 and was taken January 23, 2018, just 7 days into our lives, he was adored those 7 days and loved so much by so many. We will always cherish those 7 glorious days.
He is being greeted in Heaven by great grandparents, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his parents Austin Mitchell and Destiny Shay, brother Kyson James Mitchell. Paternal grandparents Greg and Linda Mitchell, maternal grandparents Candis Shay and Mike Edelen, maternal great grandparents Ronnie and Shelly Shay, Gerry and Connie Mitchell, Linda Walker and John Ashby, Paternal aunts and uncles Skylar and Hailey Perkins, Kaleb and Jami Mitchell all of Durant, maternal aunts and uncles, Sandy Bowens, Amandis Shay and Jason and Misty Shay all of Durant as well as many great aunts, uncles, cousins and great-great grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Family hour will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
