Anna Johnson, a resident of Calera, Oklahoma, beloved mother, and grandmother, passed into her new life on Sunday November 12, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born on June 1, 1925 in Roberta, Oklahoma to Willie Green and Lula Mae (Sauseman) Simpson. Anna married Roy Johnson on October 10, 1943 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Anna lovingly dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She took great pride in keeping their home tidy and clean. Anna was a former member of the Calera Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching westerns, and soap operas.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Peggy Mullens of Calera, Oklahoma; sons, Roy Johnson and wife Carolyn of Durant, Oklahoma, and James Johnson and wife Kathy of Calera, Oklahoma; and numerous grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lula Mae Simpson; husband, Roy Johnson; three brothers; and two sisters; son-in-law, Jerry Mullens.
Family Hour will be 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 14th. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday November 15th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Bro. Jacob Toews officiating.
Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Markham, Cody Mullens, Jeff Mullens, Jeremy Mullens, Monty Taylor, and Stormy Taylor.
