Marcia Hammett Jackson

Marcia Jackson a resident of Calera, Oklahoma left this life at her home on Sunday March 11, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born in Dallas, Texas on February 25, 1931 to James and Mamie (O'Neil) Hammett. Marcia married John Jackson in Caddo, Oklahoma on February 10, 1947.

Marcia was a dietitian for the OSU extension, and a member of the Baptist Faith. She loved to shop.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her sons, Gary Jackson and wife Linda of Calera, Oklahoma, and Harold Jackson of Calera, Oklahoma; beloved grandsons, Brandon Jackson of Calera, Oklahoma, and Daniel Jackson of Denison, Texas; four great- grandchildren; she is also survived by one sister, Hazel Taylor of Pottsboro,Texas.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John (Junior) Jackson; and daughter-in-law, Connie Jackson.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday March 14th at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Rev. Jacob Toews officiating.
