Deritha Frances Gilmore Hebert of Calera was born on August 8, 1937, in Durant to Elum and Mabel May Lundy Gilmore and passed from this life on Sunday, March 13, 2011, in Durant at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 5 days.
She married Rickie Hebert on May 27, 1981, in Dallas, Texas and they moved to Bryan in 1990. She was a dedicated wife and mother to her family.
She was member of the Glory Bound Pentecostal Church in Calera and she enjoyed shopping, garage selling, giving of herself and cooking.
Deritha was preceded in death by her parents and son, Timothy Jones.
Deritha is survived by her husband, Rickie Hebert of the home; children, Misty Ervin and husband Tony of Calera, Christel Hebert of Calera, Constance Taylor and husband Larry Vines of Colbert, Mary Hurley and husband Dennis of Irving, Texas, Pat Easley and husband Danny Payne of Coppell, Texas, James Wilson of Preston, Texas, Charles Wilson and wife Tammy of Calera and Carolyn Potoff and husband Russell of Michigan, sixteen grandchildren, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel.
Dewayne Posey and David Ervin will officiate.
Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera with Christel Hebert, James Wilson, Tony Ervin, Eric Caseberry, Russell Potoff, Tony Alvarez, Ruben Martin and Larry Vines serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
