Donna Marie Halbrooks, a cherished family member, left this life on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 63 years 6 months and 17 days. She was born to Raymond and Marie (Beal) Moiser on September 28, 1953 in Denison, Texas. Donna Moiser married Eddie Halbrooks in Durant, Oklahoma on July 2, 1982.
Donna had a compassionate, loving nature that drew her to care for any animal that needed to be rescued. She would care for them until they could be adopted to a forever home. Donna will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Halbrooks is survived by her husband, Eddie Halbrooks of Calera, Oklahoma; daughter, Stephanie Taylor and husband Kenneth of Caney, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Marie Rodgers and husband Richard of Durant, Oklahoma; grandson, Cainen Littrell and Danielle of Durant, Oklahoma; great-son, Cayden Littrell of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Linda Doyle of Denison, Texas and Martha Billington and husband Ronny of lainview, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Mrs. Halbrooks was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marie Moiser; sister, Rayleen Turnbow; and several aunts, and uncles.
Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 PM Sunday April 16th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Monday April 17th at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Chaplin Tommy Green officiating.
