Dan Gentry a resident of Lone Star, Texas passed away in Lone Star on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the age of 47. He was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 18, 1967 to Allen M. and Patricia A. (Boutte) Grant.
Dan was of the Baptist Faith. He loved reading his bible, watching TV and traveling with his mother. But he especially loved listening to his music.
Mr. Gentry is survived by his parents, Allen Gentry of Vidor, Texas and Patricia Grant and husband Johnny of Dangerfield, Texas; step-sister, Nickie Sutton and husband Tommy of Yulee, Florida; step-brother, Dale Grant of Dangerfield, Texas.
Mr. Gentry was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A chapel service will be held in honor of his memory at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Pastor Jesse West officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Grant, Dale Grant, Phillip Andrus, George Andrus, T.H. Andrus and John William Grant.
