Services for Louanna "Lou" White Foreman, 73, of Calera who passed away Friday, August 9, 2008, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Jeremy Parham will officiate.
Lou was born May 7, 1935, in Bonham, Texas, to Homer and Ruth Gibson White.
She attended school at Carter Indian School, Mead Public School and received her Master's Degree in Education at SOSU in Durant. She taught school in Durant for many years teaching at all four elementary schools teaching Indian education and children with learning disabilities.
She married Forrest Foreman on January 10, 1953, in Sherman, Texas, and she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Lou will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Laird Rochelle and sister, Helen Hankins.
Lou is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Forrest Foreman of the home; sons, Forrest Lynn Foreman, George Randall Foreman, Shelby Royston and Jeremy Paul Foreman, all of Calera; brothers, Thomas White of Calera, Cody Rochelle of Bennington and Johnny Rochelle of California; sisters, Wilma Stuckey of Ardmore and LaVerne Sharp of Calera; grandchildren, Chanteal Foreman, Cammyle Foreman and Remington Foreman; and numerous other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
