Benny Frances Elrod

Benny Francis Elrod, age 81, formerly of Durant, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 20, 2025, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Born March 10, 1943, he was the son of the late Anna Lou and Francis Marion Elrod.

As a skilled machinist, Benny balanced his work life with a love for fishing, the open road on his motorcycle, and the competitive spirit of billiards and darts.

He leaves behind his nieces, Anna Noe, Tammy Watt, and Jackie Jones; his nephew, Christian Elrod; and a host of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Billy Marion Elrod. He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephew.

A graveside service in remembrance of Benny's life will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma.
