Sonda Eddins, a lifetime resident of Calera, Oklahoma joined her Lord and Savior on Monday November 4, 2019 at the age of 80. She was born in Calera, Oklahoma to Jessie Ledford and Mary (Rocco) Ledford on December 25, 1938. A graveside service in her honor will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday November 9, 2019 at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera with Rodney Spraybury the Chaplin for Centric Hospice officiating.
Sonda was a member of the Calera 1st Baptist Church. She devoted her life to caring for her home and family. Sonda loved to work in her garden and especially planting beautiful flowers. She enjoyed; painting fishing lures, fishing, and the thrill of riding on an ATV.
Mrs. Eddins is survived by her beloved husband, Robert of the home; daughter, Debbie Cummings and husband Ronald of Sherman, Texas; sisters, Brenda Jones of Calera, Oklahoma and Kay Estep of Checotah, Oklahoma; brother, Bobby Ledford of Calera, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jennifer Cooper of Plano, Texas and Skye Womack of Calera, Oklahoma; great-grandson, Stone Hamilton of Denison, Texas; and also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Eddins was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Mary Ledford; beloved son, Robert Keith Eddins; brothers, Victor Ledford and Dewey Ledford; and sisters, Dollie Parrish and Lorenda Mitchell.
