Nona Partain Crawford entered this life on September 24, 1942 in Short, Oklahoma, born to Joseph Partain and Verbie Weaver Messick.

Nona went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 13, 2016 in Denison, Texas at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 20 days.

Nona loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading and genealogy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nona is survived by her husband, Stanley Crawford of Calera; daughter, Melissa Crawford-Reddick and husband Matt of Durant; sons, Dean Crawford of Calera and Eric Crawford of Durant; brother, Lonnie Partain Sr. and wife, Joanne of Calera; sisters, Bonnie Johnsons of Ozark, Arkansas and Doris Settle of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Crawford and wife Julie of Calera, Bridgette Faulkner and husband Matt of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Mo Crawford and husband Dan of Calera, Oklahoma, Maegan Crawford of Durant, Oklahoma, and Nathan Crawford, of Durant, Oklahoma; grand-dog, Buckshot of Durant; best friend, Melanie Andrews and husband Bob of Cartwright; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Larry Flenniken officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Lonnie Partain Jr., Bryce Harper, Aaron Crawford, Nathan Crawford, Kye' Roberts, and James Bishop as pallbearers.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
