Services for Tonya Lynn Cowley (41) of Bokchito, Oklahoma will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. June 9, 2010 at the Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church in Bokchito. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma. Rev. Bob McLean will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Roland, Bob Heurtevant, Rob Cowley, Steven Hargrove, Marcus Stephens and Ambros Martinez. Family Hour will be Tuesday, June 8, 2010 6-7 P.M. at the Holmes- Coffey –Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
Tonya Cowley was born January 17, 1969 in Denison, Texas to Rick and Viola (Stephens) Cowley. She went home to be with her Lord Sunday, June 6, 2010 after an automobile accident in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Cowley was a member of the Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church in Bokchito, Oklahoma. She enjoyed fishing, camping, visting attraction in Branson. Especially Dollywood, Concerts and church. Taking care of her "Kid" Minnie and doing things with her family.
Tonya is survived by her Father Rick Cowley of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Brothers, Michael Cowley & wife Dawn of Joshua , Texas and Matt Cowley of Durant, Oklahoma, her Grandmothers, Maggie Cowley of Janto, Texas and Ruby Stephens of Calera, Oklahoma, Neices Stormy Fritz of Joshua, Texasand Brandy Morris of Joshua Texasand her Nephew Robert Fritz of Camp, Lejeune NC; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Viola Cowley, Grandfathers: Robert Cowley, Matt Stephens.
