Carolyn Susan Corbin of Durant passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 77. Carolyn was born on August 27, 1943 in Idabel, Oklahoma to James and Gracia (Bass) Angelley.

Carolyn graduated from Idabel High School. While attending SOSU she met and later married Billy Wayne Corbin in Hugo, Oklahoma in 1962. Together they raised four children and were co-owners of several business’s together. She was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church and she dearly loved her Lord and Savior and she treasured and adored her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Billy Wayne Corbin; parents James and Gracia Angelley; sisters Lillian Appleberry, Viola Ridgeway, Barbara Higgins, Deloris Maddux, Mildred Stuart, Bertha Sherrill and Doris Roberts and brother Jimmy Angelley.

Carolyn is survived by her children Marilyn Corbin, Laura Kay Massey and husband Greg, Diana Corbin and Greg Corbin and wife Brooke; grandchildren Kiefer Corbin and wife Destiny, Tristen Corbin, Keeli Corbin, Blake Massey, Brooke Chilton and husband Nathaniel and Corbin Massey; great grandchild Kannon Corbin; husband Donald Coffey and his family; sister in law Sybil Angelley; brother in law Jim Corbin and wife Wanda; nieces and nephews Mike and Charlene Ridgway, Dan and Ann Moore, George and Sylvia Grant, Kelly and Lisa Landon, Jeff and Jill Padgett, Jennifer Colbert, Matt and Karla Southerland and John and Shawn Ledebour and numerous extended family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma. Pastor Jimmy Moore of Fairview Baptist Church will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
