Jacqueline Lea Collins, of Platter, passed away at her home on June 6, 2024, at the age of 56. She was born on August 17, 1967, in Denison, Texas, to Bobby Dean and Marilyn Joyce (Halbrooks) Collins. Jacqueline's life will show her generous heart.
Jacqueline was a Title Clerk for Stuteville Chevrolet of Durant, where she was a beloved member of the team. She was a lover of animals, Jacqueline's kindness extended to her three cherished cats and the neighborhood strays she fed without fail. Jacqueline was very artistic, and loved reading, music and movies.
Jacqueline will lovingly be remembered by her brother, Douglas Collins, and sister, Jerilyn Collins, both of Platter, Oklahoma. Her memory will also be cherished by her aunts, Glenna Swink of Arlington, Texas, and Janetta James and husband Bobby of Altus, Oklahoma, uncles Eddie Halbrooks of Calera, Oklahoma, and Franky Halbrooks and wife Carol of Pottsboro, Texas, and numerous cousins, as well as her good friends Tony and Susan Sweeney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Dean Collins and Marilyn Dewbery, and her great aunt and uncle, Mamie and Doug Zable.
A short and informal graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, with Brother Michael Moody officiating.
