Minnie Louise (Jones) Burrough 80, of Cartwright, Oklahoma passed away Saturday morning January 12, 2019 at Carrus Specialty Hospital In Sherman, Texas with her loving family at her side. She was born October 13, 1938 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Elvis and Azzlee (Luck) Jones. Louise married J.B. Burrough on September 5, 1972 and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2015 and was also preceded in death by her Parents, a Niece, Daughters Jackie and Kathy, Son J.B. and a Granddaughter.
She was a loving Wife, Sister, Mother, Aunt and Maw Maw and loved to go to Choctaw, crochet and take care of her Grandchildren and the elderly.
She is Survived by her Sister June Caster of Bertram, TX. Brothers Elvis Jones and wife Sherlean of Lane, OK. Fulton Phillips and wife Sherry of Celina, TX. and Grover Phillps and wife Phyllis of Atoka, OK. Daughters Linda Simpson of Cartwright, OK. Deborah Coffey and friend Troy Hooper of Colbert, OK. and Denise Walton and husband Kenny of Denison, TX. Son Allen Burrough of Cartwright, OK. Son-in-Law Brent Kelley of Durant OK. 10 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren and very special friend Mary Barnett.
A Celebration of Life Service for Minnie Louise Burrough will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma with Reverend Shirley Hess officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Billy Haile, Daniel Haile, Chad Walton, D.J. Simpson, Chance Haile and Scotty Moody.
Family Night will be held from 6-8 Tuesday night at the funeral home. Everyone is invited to attend lunch at Harvest Hour Pentecostal Church of God on the corner of 4th and Colbert in Cartwright, OK. after the service.
