Joseph "Joe" Hale Baldwin

Joseph Hale Baldwin was born on July 27, 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Joseph Green and Lilly (Nesbitt) Baldwin. Joe passed from this life on August 19, 2021 in Denison, Texas at the age of 77.

A life long resident of Bryan County, Joe graduated from Calera Public School. He retired from the United States Army after 30 years of service. He served in Desert Storm and Bosnia. He also worked as a civilian contractor in Iraq. Joe was also the owner of Baldwin Construction until his death. He was a member of the NRA and he enjoyed fishing, wood working, being outdoors and he took pride in lawn at home.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife Lois Ray Baldwin; parents Joseph and Lilly Baldwin; daughters Shelly Jo and Kimberly Dawn grandson Devan Buck and brother Kenneth Moore.

Joe is survived by his sons Billy Ray Baldwin and wife Stacy and Brian Baldwin and wife Jessica; grandchildren Billy Ray Baldwin and wife Rhonda, Jonathan Baldwin, Amanda Baldwin, Sierra Buck and wife Erickha Boley, Chailyn Baldwin and Luke Baldwin; great grandchildren Madison Taylor, Gavyn Baldwin, Tristen Baldwin, Dani Geckler, Adysin Geckler and Maison Ferrell and numerous extended and many friends.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pastor Jacob Toews will officiate. Pallbearers will be Billy Baldwin, Brian Baldwin, Jon Baldwin, Sierrra Buck, Tony Rochelle, Toby Rochelle and Michael Rochelle. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Baldwin and Tristen Baldwin. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
