Claudette Carson a lifetime resident of Mead, Oklahoma began her new life on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at the age of 76. She was born to William M. and Flora (Hayes) Thompson in Mead, Oklahoma on March 10, 1941. Claudette married her dearest Delbert in Fairfield, California on June 20, 1959.
Claudette and her husband ran Delbert Carson Concrete, she was the secretary/accountant. She enjoyed being outside camping and fishing. Claudette loved to cook delicious meals for her family, playing card games, working puzzles, and going to the Casino.
Mrs. Carson is survived by her beloved husband, Delbert of the home; daughter, Cassondra Lesley and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Zack Lesley, Darlene Lesley, Jed Lesley, and Morgen Lesley; great-grandchildren, Brook Lesley, Eden Lesley, Landon Lesley, and Kendrick Lesley all of Mead, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Carson was preceded in death by her parents, William M. and Flora Thompson; brothers and sisters, Roy Thompson, Clyde Thompson, Clarence Thompson, Ada Metcalf, Myrtle Juelch, Betty Lou Reynolds, Edith Lovelace, Dorthy Gage, Pauline Keith, Jene "Sonny"? Thompson.
.Family hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Friday January 26th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday January 27th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Chaplin Larry Strouse officiating. Burial will follow at the Platter Cemetery in Platter, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Zach Lesley, Jed Lesley, Travis Owens, Aaron Thompson, and Brandon Lesley.
