Dorothy Nadine (Fisher) Theisen was born on March 25, 1953 in Borger, Texas to Robert Byron and Jackie Marlene (Council) Fisher. Dorothy joined her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2020 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 67.
Dorothy attended school in Borger, TX and later received her degree to practice nursing as an LVN in Texas and LPN in Oklahoma and was a dedicated and loyal nurse for more than 30 years. Dorothy married her sweetheart John Theisen on February 5, 1970 and they were blessed with two daughters, Jackie and Angelicque. They moved to Bryan County in 1995 from Borger, TX. Dorothy was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed gardening, camping and watching soap operas. Dorothy dearly loved and treasured her time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Byron Fisher; brothers, Donald Crawford and Olen Lee Fisher; grandson, James Nathan Shawley and stepfather, James Manley Gallentine.
Dorothy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, John Theisen of the home; daughters, Jackie Wood and husband David and Angelicque Weatherford and husband Johnny; mother, Jackie Marlene Gallentine; brother, Robert Byron Fisher and wife Sheryl; grandchildren, John Nicholas Shawley, Joshua Shawley, Robert Michael Weatherford, Olivia Weatherford and fiancé Aaron Keylon and Zachary Weatherford; step grandchildren, Amber Nicole Percell and Christopher Dean Ramsdell; great grandchildren, McKenzie, Mahayla, Kaylie, Olen, Dereke, Joshua, Charlotte and Abbygail and numerous extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 9th at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Bro. Monty Wood will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
