Lorine Shipman was born on Wednesday, November 16, 1921 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Henry and Mary (Satterfinld) Roy. She passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in Durant, Oklahoma at at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 23 days. Lorine married Paul Edward Shipman in 1944 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.Her Survivors Include: Daughter: Ailene Keiler and husband, Lewis Jay of Caddo, Oklahoma, Son: Lynn Edward Shipman of Caddo, Oklahoma Grandson: Danny Lee Keiler of Caddo, Oklahoma, Granddaughter: Heather Wynette Quaid and husband,Burt of Caddo,Oklahoma Great Granddaughter: Elizabeth Alice Quaid of Caddo,Oklahoma Great Grandson: Patrick Dale Quaid of Caddo, Oklahoma Sisters: Corene McFadden of Abilene,Texas, Fern of Texas, Doris AnnStockard of Abilene, Texas, Brothers: Fred Allen Roy of Corpus. Texas.
Mrs. Shipman was preceded in death by her Parents, Henry and Mary Roy; Husband, Paul Edward Shipman; Sisters, Virginia Hazelton and Sarah Norris.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 14. 2009. Internment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Armstrong, Oklahoma Officiating will be Bro. Mark McDaniel. .
