Wanda Russell, a resident of Utica, Oklahoma passed from this life in Durant, Oklahoma on February 9, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born in Utica, Oklahoma on January 2, 1932 to Hugh Lee Beal and Elizabeth Lucina Martin Beal. Family hour will be from 5-7:00 PM on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday February 12, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. John Heath officiating. Her final resting place will be the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong, Oklahoma with Bobby Dale Mitchell, Steve Dow, Tommy Rowland, Johnny Rowland, Tony Simmons, and Chris Hayworth as her pallbearers.
Wanda was a beloved soul who loved cooking, reading her bible and attending church. She married her beloved husband Wesley Russell in Denison, Texas on October 30, 1948.
Mrs. Russell is survived by her children, Larry Russell and wife Donna of Utica, Oklahoma, Shirley Brockett and husband Eddie of Calera, Oklahoma, Loria Russell of the home, grandchildren, Wesley Brockett of Calera, Oklahoma, Scott Brockett and wife Allison of Sherman, Texas, Angie Ansiel, Andrea Cole, and Amanda Canada and husband Collin, great-grandchildren, Amber Cole, Emilie Ansiel, Amelia Herndon, McKinzie Patton, Adlee Canada, Carter Ansiel, Christian Cole, and Brantley Canada.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wesley Russell, parents, Hugh and Elizabeth Beal, siblings, Sue Graham, Euda Rose, M.R. Beal (Doff) and Garlen Beal (Sonny).
