Carolyn Rogers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and resident of Durant, Oklahoma left this life on Thursday July 12, 2018 at the age of 73. She was born in Durant on January 25, 1945 to Daniel C. and LaVern (Seago) Wright. Carolyn married her beloved Donald in the City of Orange, California on March 15, 1969.

Carolyn dedicated her life to making and home for her cherished family. She had a compassionate heart and loved to serve others volunteering for Meals on Wheels, driving the Senior van, and teaching English as a second Language (ELS). Carolyn loved life and enjoyed-sewing, the fast-paced joy of square dancing, and riding her bicycle on a beautiful day.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Donald Rogers of the home; daughter, Darlene McKinnell of Durant, Oklahoma; son, Wesley Rogers and wife Theresa of Albany, Oregon; and grandchildren, Melissa Cooperman and husband Rob of Round Rock, Texas, Chandler Webster of Mesa, Arizona, and Paige Rogers of Albany, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Larry D. Wright and Tommy D. Wright.

Family hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Tuesday July 17th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home, 121 North 5th Street in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday July 18th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Chaplain Leon Veazey of Guardian Hospice. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong, Oklahoma.
