Arthur Lee Brown Jr. was born on February 15, 1957 in Fresno, CA to Arthur Lee Brown and Ruth Jalaska Turner. Arthur passed away on October 18, 2019 at his home at the age of 62.
The family moved to Bryan Co. when Arthur was an infant. He has been a life long resident of Durant. He married Lillie Belle Smith on September 28, 1996 in Durant. He worked for the City of Durant and later owned his own sanitation business. He was a proud member of the Oklahoma National Guard until his Honorable Discharge. He enjoyed cattle, fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Lillie Belle Brown of the home; mother, Ruth Jalaska Turner; children, Melissa Brown, Jeffery Brown, Tammy Ibarra and husband Julian, Jimmy Brown, Connie Oni and husband Christian, Katie Scott and husband Matthew, Jeremy Brown and wife Kaila and John Brown; sisters, Jane Pierce and husband Albert, Mary Brown and Doris Knight and husband Odell; grandchildren, John Scott, Felipe Brown, Audi Martinez, Dani Martinez, Alejandro Martinez, Julianna Ibarra, Julian Ibarra Jr., Marcus Ibarra, Matthew Ibarra, Julius Ibarra, Addisynn Brown, Jaston Brown and Katherine Bridges; great grandchild Melody Brown and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Brown; sister, Joyce Ann Cross; brother, Jesse Willard Brown and granddaughter, Patricia Necole Rider.
