Gerald Dale Brown

March 3, 1950 ~ August 1, 2023

Gerald Brown, of Durant, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the age of 70. He was born on August 6, 1953, in Fresno, California, to Arthur Arles and Clattie (Morris) Brown.

Gerald was resourceful and hardworking, creating his own business as a handyman. During his downtime, he enjoyed relaxing at home and watching his TV.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Carrie Brown of Durant, his granddaughter Angel Marie Bledsoe of Colbert, and his brother Garland Brown.

Preceding him in death are his parents Arthur and Clattie Brown, brothers Paul Brown, Robert Brown, Arthur Brown, Clinton Brown, and Hermon Martin, and sisters Erline Brown, Sharon Campo, Betty Brown, Martha Brown, Ruth Ann Brown, Barbara Brown, and Mary Ann Brown.

Family Hour will be held Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2024, in the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Kautt officiating. Gerald will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery following his funeral service.
