Billy Ivan Brown, age 46 of Caney, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma. Billy was born on August 14, 1978, in Durant, Oklahoma to Earl Malone and Joyce Ann Brown. Billy married Margie Ann Black on February 20, 2015, in Mead, Oklahoma and they began their lives together. Billy has been a lifelong resident of this area and worked doing everything with mobile homes. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, shooting guns, and doing all types of mechanic work. Billy's greatest thing in his life was his family, especially his grandbabies.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents; son Christopher Black; grandmother Ruth Turner; mother in law Skeeter Loyd and brother in law Tracey Glover.
Billy is survived by his loving wife Margie Brown of the home; children Billy Ivan Brown II and wife Kerri of Caney, OK, Heather Ross and husband Donovan of Valliant, OK, and Mackenzie Halford and husband Joshua Paradis of Durant, OK; grandbabies Parker Brown, Tanner Wenciker, Lily Ross, Ivy Ross, Daniel Ross, Issac Paradis, Havonna Paradis, and soon to be Joshua Paradis Jr.; siblings Dinah Heurtevant and significant other Tommy Beshirs, Michael Stinson and wife Rhonda, Arty Page and wife Amanda, Sherri Cross and husband Randy, and Jasmine Malone; sister in law Micki Bomsburger and husband Glen and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Glen Bomsburger, Trever Black, Donovan Ross, Billy Brown II, Jonathan Sheperd, and Jarin Martin serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday Jan. 3rd from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
