Dorotha Jean Whitley passed away on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at her home in Pottsboro, Texas at the age of 64 years old. She was born to Weltmer Eugene Whitley and Mary Loetta (Kuykendall) Whitley on September 30th, 1956 in Odessa, Texas.
Dorotha worked in meat production for Tyson. She enjoyed shopping anytime she was able to. She also loved to spend time with her family and friends, they were very dear to her.
Dorotha is survived by her brothers, Joe Whitley and wife Lorre of Odessa, Texas, Wendell Whitley of Durant, Oklahoma, sister, Rhonda Pierce and husband Terry of Mead, Oklahoma, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Dorotha is preceded in death by her parents Weltmer Eugene Whitley and Mary Loetta (Kuykendall) Whitley.
Family Hour will be 3-4pm Sunday, December 6 , 2020, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be at 11:00am Monday, December 7, 2020 at Mead Cemetery in Mead, Oklahoma, with George Edwards officiating. Pallbearers will be Wendell Whitley, Terry Pierce, Justin Pierce, Jason Buchanan, Bud Cooper Allen Blanton, Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Anderson and Jarod Johns.
