Gracie Ann Pippin, 69, of Mead passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Mead. Gracie was born December 28, 1941 in McKinney, Texas to Charlie Alexander and Grace Moten Alexander.
She married Jerry Pippin in McKinney, Texas on March 10, 1962.
Gracie loved shopping, gardening, sewing, painting, canning vegetables and was very involved with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Gracie is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Jerry Pippin; three daughters, Cindy Pippin of Mead, Lisa Treglazoff and husband Michael of Mead and Makayla Pippin of Mead; two sisters, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Harrington officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Lindley, Davy Darnell, Darrell McCullough, Mike Williams, Doyle Rutledge and Stephen Alexander.
Burial will be in Mead Cemetery.
