Steven Earl Matlock, a resident of Caney, OK, left this earthly life too soon, on November 5, 2021, at the age of 39. He was born in Sherman, TX on December 7, 1981, to Johnnie Matlock and Patsy Workman Duncan.
Steven was a true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, stock car racing, and four wheeling.

Mr. Matlock was preceded in death by first wife, Amy Michelle Holt and second wife, Stacey Leigh Darby, and brother, Curtis Matlock.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday November 11th at the Mead Cemetery Pavilion in Mead, OK with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating. His pallbearers will be Ryan Matlock, Tyler Matlock, Amos Workman, Jerry Tucker, Case Daniels, and KD Ladd, the honorary pallbearers are Ryan Matlock, Tyler Matlock, and Amos Workman.
Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, OK.
