Margaret Louise Love Kiser of Mead, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the age 91 years and 21 days in Plano, Texas. She was born on Monday, July 12, 1920 to Felix and Bella Davidson Love in Mead Oklahoma. Margaret married George Clinton "Bus" Kiser on Saturday, May 15, 1937. They had three children, Wilma Dolores, Gary Morris and Linda Sue.
As "Bus" Kiser worked the fields of Bryan County, Margaret {nicknamed "Bob" at a early age} was working in Durant at the Woolsworth Department Store on Main Street. She helped establish Woolsworths across the country. She later worked for Gibson's on North 1st Street in Durant, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Kiser is survived by her grandchildren, Terry Mefford and wife Debbie of Mead, Oklahoma, Talana Flanagan and husband David of Clifton, Texas, Todd Mefford and wife Shelly of Canton, Texas, Cary Kiser and wife Amanda of Little Elm, Texas, Celinda Garner and husband Jim of Durant, Oklahoma, Dean Glenn and wife Denise of Burleson, Texas, and Christy Webb and husband Mike of North Glen, Colorado; 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kiser is preceded in death by her husband, Bus Kiser; daughters, Linda Sue {December 20, 2010}, Wilma Dolores {May 20, 2011}; son, Gary Morris {December 21, 2010}.
Family Hour will be 6-7:00 P.M. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Mead Baptist Church, Mead, Oklahoma with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating. Interment will follow at the Mead Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. Family and friends may send online condolences and view tributes at www.coffeymurray.com. Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, Durant, Oklahoma.
