William “Bill” Ellis, Jr., 48, of Armstrong passed away September 9, 2010 at his home.

Bill was born April 16, 1962 in Clinton, OK to William Ellis Sr. and Sammie Woods Ellis.

Bill moved to Bryan County in 1971 from Elkhart, Kansas. He enjoyed bull riding, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.

Bill is preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Kayleen Jones.

He is survived by his mother, Sammie Ellis of Mead, OK; Father, William Ellis Sr. of Armstrong; sister, Charlotte Ellis Johnson and husband David Bednarik of Coleman, OK; brother, Gaylon Ellis and wife Pamela of Kenefic, OK and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, September 13, 2010 at Mead Cemetery with Bro. Randy Lewis officiating. Family hour will be Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 3 PM to 5 PM. Pallbearers will be Luther Mash, James Johnson, Casey Davis, Gaylon Ellis, Raymond Harris and Steve Waldo. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com. Services are under the direction on Brown’s Funeral Service Durant.
