In loving memory of Lillie Ruth Dickerson, aged 83, who peacefully passed away on February 4th, surrounded by her cherished family. She is survived by her loving children: Bill and Gloria Frost, Carla Cain, and Charlie and Sandy Frost. Ruth is remembered by her adoring grandchildren: Crystal and David McDaniels, John and Christina Frost, James and Hannah Peterson, Madison Laird, Katie Cain, Leslie Cain, Chris Frost, Josh and Elizabeth Frost, Steven Frost, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lillie Mae and Clifton Fread, husbands Carl Frost and Ray Dickerson, sister Gloria Sue McDaniel, and grandson Carl Frost.
Ruth proudly worked for Boeing and General Motors before pursuing her passion as an LPN, dedicating 13 years to Oak Ridge Nursing Home before retiring. She moved all over Texas, and up to Washington State before settling down in Blue, Oklahoma. Where she enjoyed her hobbies: fishing, sewing, quilting, gardening, crocheting, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with her beloved family.
Lillie Ruth Dickerson's warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Mead Cemetery. Dr. Mark Allen will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Peterson, John Frost, David McDaniels, Bubba Billy, Nathan Schneider, and Louis Schneider. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM.
