CALERA, Okla. - Donald Leroy Bruce, 65, died, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Texoma Medical Center.

Graveside/Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11 at Meade Cemetery in Meade, Okla.

J.D. Batman will officiate.

Survivors are sons Roy Don Bruce of Clarksville, Tenn., Dalton L. Bruce of Calera, Okla., Lee Hamill of Calera, Okla., Shane Hamill of Odessa; two grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.

Donald Leroy Bruce passed away on Monday, June 8, 2011 at the age of 65 years at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born to Roy and Neoma (Myers) Bruce on Tuesday, October 30, 1945 in Durant, Oklahoma. Donald married Mickey Ann Courter on June 17, 1994 in Odessa, Texas. She passed away on February 2, 2006 in Calera, Oklahoma.

Donald was a truck driver and enjoyed being outdoors. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Survivors include: sons, Roy Don Bruce and wife Alma of Clarksville, Tennessee, Dalton L. Bruce of Calera, Oklahoma, Lee Hamill and wife Bridgette of Calera, Oklahoma and Shane Hamill of Odessa, Texas. Grandchildren, Ashton Bruce of Clarksville, Tennessee and Zachary Shane Hamill of Odessa, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Neoma Bruce, and wife, Mickey Ann Bruce.

Graveside Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Mead Cemetery in Mead, Oklahoma. Officiating the service will be Rev. J. D. Batman.
