Darrell Henry Berryhill 73, of Calera, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday September 15, 2021 at Alliance Health in Durant, Oklahoma. He was born May 26, 1948 in Seminole, Texas to Henry Thomas and Mary Frances Pence Berryhill who has preceded him in death.
He is survived by his Brother Jerry Berryhill, Son Sean Berryhill and wife Missie. Three Daughters Stephanie McGee and husband Joe, Taya Berryhill and fiancé’ Tyler and Stephanie Berryhill. 11 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandkids with one on the way. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and many dear friends also survive.
Darrell worked all over the United States in many Hospitals in Radiology. One of many was director of Radiology in Durant. After many years of traveling he retired to spend time with his family.
After his stroke he resided at the Calera Manor Nursing Home where he was loved by everyone there. They treated him like their own. Darrell will always be remembered for his butterscotch candy. The highlight of his life in later years was his son picking him up every Monday for a day outing of food and riding around, they nowhere but everywhere.
A Memorial Graveside Celebration of Life Service for Darrell Berryhill will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Mead Cemetery in Mead, Oklahoma with Gwen Dill officiating with burial to follow.
